The third step in BizMed's health check is an in-person doctor's visit. The medical examination takes place at your workplace, with the duration depending on the agreement your workplace has with BizMed. During the examination, the doctor reviews the health declaration and the results of the sampling. A physical examination is then conducted, following a standard protocol but also tailored to any findings from the health declaration and sampling. Sampling
The second step of the check involves BizMed's registered nurses visiting your workplace to collect blood samples, measure blood pressure, and perform an ECG if necessary. The blood samples are then sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis. You can read more about the included tests here.
Digital health declaration
The first step of the check is a digital health declaration, developed in collaboration with specialist doctors, psychologists, and work environment experts. It is sent via email approximately a week before sampling and consists of nine sections that provide BizMed's doctors with a solid foundation for understanding the individual’s health status. All questions are based on internationally validated and evidence-based research. The aim is also for individuals to reflect on how various aspects of their health – such as sleep and diet – are functioning, providing a basis for further discussion during the doctor’s consultation.

If anything is identified in the Health Check that requires follow-up, BizMed will assist the employee in taking the next steps. In some cases, the doctor may determine that the matter should be referred to primary care or handled through your existing health insurance, if applicable. BizMed can also act as a resource for certain individual follow-ups.
As an employer, you will receive a group analysis with aggregated data from the health checks, along with a summary of your company’s overall health status. BizMed will then provide recommendations for actions and group-level follow-ups to ensure the health checks have a long-term impact, benefiting both the individual and the company.
