If anything is detected that requires a follow-up, BizMed will assist you in taking the next steps. In some cases, the doctor may determine that it is necessary to schedule a follow-up with BizMed within an appropriate timeframe.

We are committed to supporting you throughout your long-term health journey. Welcome to BizMed.

Medical Examination with Doctor

The third step in BizMed's health check is a physical doctor's visit. The medical examination takes place at BizMed's clinic at Malmskillnadsgatan 37 in Stockholm and the time allocated for this is 30 minutes. The medical visit begins with an ECG and measurement of blood pressure and oxygen saturation. During the medical examination, the doctor summarizes the health declaration and the results from the sampling. A physiological examination is then carried out both based on a standard protocol and adapted based on what emerged from the health declaration and sampling. For offices outside Stockholm, the physiological examination will take place in connection with the sampling and the doctor's consultation digitally.

Sampling

The second step is to take blood samples, which you take in connection with your vaccination appointment. The blood samples are then sent for analysis to an accredited laboratory. The sample collection is based on gender, age and is tailored to your health declaration. You do not need to fast.

Samples included for everyone:

Blood tests

Blood status (red and white blood cells, platelets, etc.)

Creatinine (kidney function value)

ASAT, ALAT, GT and Bilirubin (Liver function tests)

Sodium and Potassium (blood salts)

Glucose and HbA1c (short- and long-term blood sugar)

CRP (Inflammation value)

LDL, HDL, LDL/HDL ratio and triglycerides (blood fats)

Potential additions are made if something appears in the health declaration that makes it relevant to add more samples.

Digital Health Declaration

The first step of the check is a digital health declaration. The health declaration is developed in collaboration with a specialist doctor, psychologist and work environment specialist. It is sent to you by email/text message immediately after booking and gives BizMed's doctors a good basis for being able to individually adapt the testing and the doctor's visit. All questions are based on internationally validated and proven research. The idea is also that you yourself should reflect on how your different health areas work, such as sleep and diet, and then continue the dialogue during the doctor's consultation.

That's how it happens

  • Complete blood count (CBC)

Provides a basic picture of the body's blood cells and can reveal anemia, infections or other blood diseases.

  • CRP and SR

Two important markers that show whether the body is carrying an infection or a chronic inflammatory condition.

  • Lipid profile (Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides)

A classic analysis of blood lipids that helps assess the risk of cardiovascular disease.

  • ApoA1, ApoB, Lp(a)

Provides a more detailed insight into fat balance and the risk of atherosclerosis, especially in cases of hereditary heart problems.

  • Glucose, HbA1c, Insulin

Values that show how the body handles blood sugar and whether there is a risk of insulin resistance or diabetes.

  • Liver status – ALT, AST, ALP, GT, Bilirubin

Analyses that reveal liver effects from alcohol, diet, stress or medication – even without symptoms.

  • Pancreatic amylase

An enzyme that helps assess possible impact on the pancreas.

  • Creatinine, eGFR, Urea

Important tests to evaluate kidney function and prevent early kidney damage.

  • Electrolytes (Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Phosphate)

Essential substances for the body's cells, nerves, muscles and heart to function normally.

  • TSH, free T4, possibly free T3

Provides a clear picture of thyroid function, which affects weight, energy and well-being.

  • Vitamin D, B12, Folate, Ferritin, Iron

Deficiencies in these substances can cause fatigue, impaired immune function and difficulty concentrating.

  • PSA

A simple blood test to detect early signs of prostate cancer.

  • Testosterone

Testosterone levels affect muscles, energy, sex drive and general well-being.

  • Estrogen, FSH, LH

Important for understanding the menstrual cycle, fertility or menopausal symptoms.

  • Homocysteine, Cortisol

In-depth analysis of the body's stress level and connection to cardiovascular health.

I’ve often felt frustrated that many of my patients in the emergency room could and should have been detected and treated earlier. That’s why I’m excited to be involved in developing a modern health check that truly makes a difference.
